= 540 litres,

For cylindrical water tank capacity total volume of cylindrical water tank is equal to the capacity to store water, total Volume of Cylinder shaped tank is the area A of circular end times the height H,

A= πR2

where R is the radius which is equal to 1/2 of diameter or d/2,

Therefore the volume of Cylinder shaped water tank V tank = πR2 × H,

Take,

Diameter = 1.12m

height = 1m,

then R = 1.12/2 = 0.56m,

The volume of the tank = πR2 × H

= 3.14 × 0.56 × 0.56 × 1

= 0.984m3,

Multiply the answer by 1000 as 0.984×1000= 9840 litres, the result 9840 is water tank capacity in litres.
